About Face is the first company I found and started working for. Before signing up, the animated attendant Stevie takes you through a tour of how the company works. She will answer questions ranging from the industries this company serves to how long it will take to get started. This site is easy to navigate and full of information.

About Face, along with the other companies, does not consider you an employee of their company. You are considered an independent contractor so you will have to keep track of what you make for tax purposes. I will post an example of the excel sheet I use to keep track of jobs, date of job and date paid. The requirements for being a shopper for About Face is: reliable transportation, Stable home office (computer, access to email, fax, scanner, copier, telephone), writing skills, detailed, able to meet deadlines.

I have not had to use a fax but if your scanner goes down you can use it to submit your proof of visit. I strongly recommend taking the Smiley University Overview course. It will quiz you on the standards and expectations of the company.
