Here is the entire process step-by-step:

Step 1:

Review everything we received from the scammer.

Step 2:

IP trace to determine where their mail was sent from.

Step 3:

Inform ISP or Internet Service Provider.

Step 4: Once IP reported, follow up with the person who reported the scam.

Step 5: Now it’s time to inform several agencies and organizations. Contact the MSPA first and notify the FTC. Then on to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint site. Finally, the last step you need to take is to file a report with PhoneBusters.

Step 6:

Keeping Records: We keep every record and report it to another organization, that will go unnamed.

If you think, “There are so many SCAMs out there – I can’t make a difference,” just know Kim systematically shuts these criminals down. We report identity theft and we have a great way of helping shoppers report.
